It is with great joy and pride that we announce Kena Marubo as a 4rest4all Ambassador and the recipient of our first Indigenous Grant, representing the Javari Valley and the strength of Indigenous women.
Kena is an activist from the Marubo people, a communicator, content creator, and ceramic artist. Her journey brings together art, culture, communication, environmental protection, and a deep commitment to the health and quality of life of Indigenous, riverine, and Quilombola communities.
Her relationship with 4rest4all was built through shared action in the territory. She joined our connectivity missions in the Javari Valley, helping bring communities closer, strengthen Indigenous leadership, and expand access to communication in remote areas of the Amazon.
She will now officially represent us as an Ambassador while receiving 4rest4all's first Indigenous Grant to support her studies and professional development.
Welcome, Kena. It is an honor to have someone who has been, and continues to be, such an important part of our story as the first Indigenous Grant recipient.
